The challenge

Larchmont’s park on the Sound, a hundred years old, with most of its fields, courts and buildings at the end of their life.

The brief

Give the restoration a name people would back, and make it easy to put your family’s name on the park.

Flint Park Conservancy, project overview

Flint Park Conservancy is restoring Larchmont’s hundred-year-old park on Long Island Sound. It set out to fund a three-phase restoration, and to stop the town re-raising money every fifteen years.

01 · Project overview

Larchmont’s shared backyard.

Flint Park is more than twenty acres on Long Island Sound.

Dedicated in 1922, by its hundredth year most of its amenities had been called unsafe and unusable. The Conservancy, a volunteer nonprofit, had a three-phase plan to restore fields, buildings and courts. It needed the town behind it, and a way for families to give.

02 · The opportunity

Restore it once, and keep it.

Past fundraising came in fifteen-year cycles, with little maintenance in between.

So the case had to be about more than a new playground. It was a model that maintains itself: sustainability, preservation and recreation, in that order. And it had to be personal, down to your family’s name on a bench.

03 · Visual identity

A field above the water.

The roundel sets the name around a monogram of four cells.

F, P, C and a green square with a blue band at its base: a field above the water, the park on the Sound. Flint green and Sound blue sit on cream, with forest teal and a rust accent. The campaign became The Future of Flint.

04 · The website

Ask clearly, then make it easy.

We built the site in Webflow around one story: a safe, sustainable Flint Park.

It sets out the stakes, the three phases on a timeline and the ways to give, with the master plan to download. Every amenity has a sponsor page with its own way to give, and banners in the park link back.

05 · The campaign

Leave your mark on Flint Park.

Fifty Founding Families were invited to name the park’s new amenities.

For the launch, Party for the Park, we made the event deck, set up registration and payments, and designed the follow-up email and thank-you cards. Then came the plaques. Working alongside the Conservancy’s team: a multi-million-dollar campaign, fully funded.
